DAIICHI 2271 Salmon Streamer hook
Product Description
Heavy wire, tapered loop, down-eye, long shank, and limerick bend are the definitions of a traditional streamer hook. This model is heavy wire on the salmon scale, which means it, will perform magnificently on heavy fish. Great for “spey” and “dee” style salmon flies, bucktails, and streamers for Alaskan salmon or northern steelhead.
The hooks are made of the finest high-carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered to an exacting formula that makes for a long point life and a very strong hook. Daiichi hooks use a 12-degree constant taper ground needle point. This eliminates irregularities in shape, assuring no weak spots, and gives amazing speed of penetration.
