Skinny Bugger. SBS
Start by tying in the tag, Wrapping towards the
Gapes and foldong underneath. Seal with
Deercreek UV resin for a wee bit of protection.
Or super glue(just takes longer to dry) |
Tie in the tail with a few strands of blue Fluro
fibre then the oval tinsel ribbing which will be
used later for securing the hackles. By cutting
the holographic tinsel at an angle I find it
easier to tie in, find it best to wrap down the
hook shank then back up. Note the position
of thread |
Once youve tied off the holographic take some schapplen and wrap down to the
waiting oval tinsel, Wrap the tinsel up in a
counter direction and tie off |
Take some marabou and push over the head
in a tube like fashion tie off and add a splash
of dubbing. |
Fold back the marabou and secure.
Add some JC and a touch of head cement. |
