Hareline’s fine black barred marabou feathers feature the tightest barring process we have seen from any fly tying distributor, and will instantly give your favorite streamer patterns a very fishy mottled effect. The barring process seems to have stiffened up the fibers a bit more than what you find on traditional blood quill marabou, so this is not a great option for palmering unless you take the time to brush it out with a comb. However, fine black barred marabou is perfect for wings and tails and comes in a wide variety of colors.
